V. Lynn Evans brings a record of working in the public interest, as well as a history of business leadership to her role as an independent board member to PFM II LLC. Throughout her career, Lynn has demonstrated a dedication to excellence and a passion for making a positive impact in her community.

Lynn’s career spans a range of roles and responsibilities. At the helm of a professional services firm, she oversees all facets of operations, from administration to business development, personnel management, and technical service delivery.

With a knack for strategic planning and governance, Lynn has advised many entities on financial reporting, policy-making, and internal controls. Her expertise extends to crisis management, interim CFO services, and litigation support, fraud detection and coordination with regulatory authorities.

Lynn's involvement in community banking as an Organizer and Director of First Alliance Bank in Memphis, TN for 20 years showcases her commitment to local economic development. She currently serves on the Guaranty Bank Memphis Advisory Board.  In 2012, President Obama nominated and in 2013, the U. S. Senate unanimously approved Lynn to serve on the Tennessee Valley Authority Board of Directors, where she chaired critical committees and provided expertise in financial reporting from 2013 to 2018. In 2017, Lynn was elected as the first woman and first African American to Chair the TVA board.

Lynn is a former member of the Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division Board of Commissioners, the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis Board of Directors, and other former civic board memberships include ArtsMemphis, Women's Foundation for a Greater Memphis, the RISE Foundation and Memphis Land Bank, Inc.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Lynn is actively engaged in civic and volunteer activities. She currently sits on the board of the Thomas W. Briggs Foundation as Chair of the review committee.  She is the immediate past Audit Committee Chair for the Jackson State University National Alumni Association, Inc.

Lynn's affiliations include membership in professional organizations such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as participation in groups like National Association of Women Business Owners and International Women’s Forum Tennessee Women's Forum.

Graduating first in her class with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Jackson State University, Lynn is a licensed CPA in Tennessee and Michigan.
