Stephen joined PFM’s healthcare practice in 2016 after five years at a Big Four public accounting firm. As a senior managing consultant, he works closely with clients to support capital markets transactions in both the tax-exempt and taxable spaces. Additionally, his ongoing work with clients include but is not limited to analyses of financial statements, debt capacity, credit profiles, and strategic/competitive positioning. Finally, Stephen also supports the healthcare practice in developing proposals and other marketing material for prospects.
From 2011 through 2016, Stephen worked at KPMG LLP out of the Boston office. His time was spent performing financial statement audits in the asset management, higher education and government sectors. He focused on the audit engagements of Registered Investment Companies in addition to hedge fund and private equity funds.
Stephen attained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2016 and is member of the CFA Society of Boston. Additionally, Stephen holds a Certified Public Accountant license in the state of Massachusetts and is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
