PFM Financial Advisors LLC (PFMFA) has announced the promotion of
Florien Bouwmeester to Managing Director.
Florien joined PFM as part of the firm’s asset acquisition of Melio & Company, a premier healthcare advisory firm. At PFM, she co-leads the firm’s healthcare advisory practice, bringing more than 25 years of experience advising not-for-profit healthcare providers nationwide. Her work focuses on helping healthcare organizations navigate complex financing decisions, and supporting long-term capital and strategic planning.
Prior to joining PFM, Florien served as a Managing Director at Melio & Company. Previously, she was an Executive Director with JPMorgan’s Commercial Bank, where she acted as the credit executive responsible for a portfolio of healthcare, higher education, and other not-for-profit clients across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. In this role, she oversaw portfolio management and credit approval processes, supervised the negotiation and execution of financing terms, and regularly advised senior leadership on financing needs and structuring considerations.
Earlier in her career, Florien held positions at Kaufman Hall, Financial Guaranty Insurance Company, and Moody’s Investors Service, where she advised not-for-profit healthcare clients nationwide. She began her career in JPMorgan's public finance investment banking division. Florien earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her MBA from Columbia University.
